What is the lowdown on James Hetfield's guitar?
I am trying to create a replica of James' explorer guitar, and I know that the pick-ups are emg 60's and 81's, but what does he use for things like strings, picks, tuning pegs, hardware like the bridge and Tune-O-Matic, strap locks and straps? The guitar will be painted white and will have the EET FUK sticker on it, with all black hardware.
He uses Ernie Ball Power slinky strings 11 - 48 and Jim Dunlop tortex 0.88 mm custom picks ( green ). Here is the lowdown on Hetfield, just scroll down to the equipment section.
